My journey to lose 150+ lbs with P90x, 4 Hour Body, diet, & working out + My P90x Review

So Ihave two goals…

It’s summer and you know what that means… Sun, grilling, and vacations! I am going to Cancun in the first week of July, so I have 1 month before I’ll be in paradise!

My goals!?

Lose as much weight as I can in 30 days. Today is day 1!
Save money by eating at home.

I’ve been good so far this week, using the grill for chicken and halibut and doing some low cal homemade chinese last night. I’ve had leftovers every day for lunch to, so two meals in one!

Watch me as I go! I’ll do some before pics tonight when I get home and I’ll take pics of my meals and update on my workout regimen.

The Ultimate Body

If you’ve followed me for long enough, you’ll realize I’m an avid fan of The Biggest Loser. I even auditioned when it was in Indianapolis (which was a waste of 6 hours for 3 question group interview, but still fun)…

I love the show because it’s about changing your life and being inspiring. Yet, even with the most advanced technology and the best trainers, losing the weight leaves them with tough to lose areas. Ever notice how they stop taking off there shirt somewhere 40 lbs lost… That’s because the clothes can cover up excess skin and fat.

The ultimate body takes hard work, but can also be enhanced with liposuction and/or other plastic surgery.

Just remember, just losing the weight sometimes isn’t enough. But it’s definitely the first step!

Weight Watchers Week 1 Weigh-in

After my first week of Weight Watchers Online, I’m down 5 lbs. A very good start! I’ve been rehabbing a back back and have been able to play basketball Sunday and do about 20 minutes of P90x Yoga. I remember how awesome (and freakin’ hard!) it is! I’m hoping to get back into P90x over the next month or so also!

I’m going to the beach (not sure where yet) in July, so have to get started on that “beachy-er” body!

New Month… New Plan – Joined Weight Watchers

So March is coming tomorrow and I’ve decided to go back to the program which I had the most success with, Weight Watchers. I loved the 4 Hour Body, it just got hard to do it with my lifestyle and how often I don’t control the food choices. With Weight Watchers you can eat the right amount of anything, which I love.

I signed up for 3 months of WW Online. I was talked into it with the AMAZING iPhone app that tracks EVERYTHING. It’s awesome.

I’ve been having a lot of trouble with my lower back the past 10 days and I KNOW I have to lose some weight before it’s going to get better. I want to start working out and more also and plan on doing as much as possible with my back. But my main priority right now will be on my diet.

I’m looking forward to the challenge and if anyone is on the WW forums, check me out (LLKOOLK). I’m excited to continue my journey!
