Welcome to the infamous, RECOVERY WEEK. Sounds easy enough, right? Well when you have to do Yoga twice (which I contend is the hardest part of P90x, at least for me) and 2 rounds of Core Synergynics which just sounds dirty (and from the 10 minute preview, looks as dirty), it’s not much for rest.

That’s not to say I’m not looking forward to it… Oh contrair my nair. I’m excited to work on my core and flexibility for a full week. I feel like that’s one of the things that’s holding me back a bit with some of my other workouts, so flexibility and working on my core muscles is exactly what the doctor ordered.

Today’s Yoga? It was by far the best of the 5 weeks. I worked through the first hour much more cleanly and went up and down through over half the venacas (which is quite a feat for me… I usually skip them, as it was very difficult getting up and down). Each and every day I feel like I’m able to do something that I’ve NEVER been able to do… Not even when I was “in shape” playing football 12 years ago. I’m able to get up quicker, bend down further, and squat lower and lower.

In other news, I ordered my P90x tank top for my cruise in a couple weeks which I’m super excited about. I also have decided to become a Independent Beach Body Coach. This allows me to help motivate you all who are using the Beach Body products while making some spare change for new clothes (cause, I’m sure you know I’m going to need them dropping over 10 sizes!)

I decided to become a coach when I’ve had 3 people already buy P90x after seeing my progress. Now, I’ll be able to join you on that journey and give you tools and inspiration to complete your goals. I’m really excited!
