So Saturday and Sunday, aka Day 33 & 34 of P90x + my last 2 days of the recovery week are lumped together because they basically were. This was a busy weekend, with a trip to the airport at 7:00 AM, a drive to Bloomington for a noon game, visit with Wild Kat (aka, the baby bro), & back home to meet up with one very pretty girl (just seeing if she reads hah)… Saturday consisted of long walks from the football stadium (well north of 17th street) to 10th street and back, as well as a nice 10 block walk to and from the bar (and in the rain)… I did a quick modified version of XStretch.

Today, another crazy busy day with a Colts game, but just got done with Yoga. I love how much easier it’s getting each and every day. I felt a little off (I feel like the first time this week I was more flexible), but today I really pushed to do more and more of the routine.

This was quite a hectic week and really the first week I haven’t been 100% focused on working out and eating right. It was more of a grind and I understand that’s going to happen. The key is to get through weeks like this and work towards the next week.

This upcoming week is going to be very challenging on a couple levels, which I feel will ultimately be good for me. I am going to be traveling 3 days this week (5 hour round trip), so I’m going to have to stay motivated and push myself even though I’m going to be tired.

Secondly, I’m meeting with my boss every day, so lunch is going to be at the mercy of someone else again. Most of the time we go places where it’s easy enough to find something, but it definitely more difficult than coming home.

Speaking of food… I’m slowly starting to run out of the stuff I really like, so I’m planning a grocery run in the near future. I’ll start working on my list and post that in the next couple days… Might not be this week since I’m going to be so busy, but we’ll see.

All in all, had a good weekend and looking forward to moving into Phase 2 with some new stuff!
